Wilson is a native of the mountains of Western North Carolina.He holds a Bachelor of Christian Studies degree from North Greenville University and is close to completing his Master of Divinity degree through Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary as he is pursuing ordination in the PCA. Prior to his arrival at Oconee, Wilson served for two years as Pastoral Intern at Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church in Asheville, NC. In his free time, Wilson enjoys bass fishing, hunting, book binding, and playing his guitar.

Wilson and His wife of two years, Merry-Chandlar, met each other at North Greenville University and have recently welcomed their first child, Magnolia-Mae, into the world.
